‘PLOT’ features LED-Colourlab

In the current issue of PLOT-Magazine – Creative Spaces – the LED-Colourlab is featured. The research project by the HdK Zurich examines — with partners from the economy — the interplay of light and colour. Our CEO Valentin Spiess, was involved in the project as a research associate. While the accompanying exibition closed its doors already, one can watch a video documentation of it.

Two iart projects in the current issue of Hochparterre

Issue 8/2009 of Hochparterre has a feature on the 50th anniversary of the Swiss Museum of Transport in it. The recently finished remodelling of the transport hall is described in detail, as is the 2008 remodelling of the media factory. iart worked on both projects.

lifeClipper-Feature on Swiss National Television

In the scientific series “Einstein” Swiss Television SF1 (which also reported on iart) reported on the augmented reality project lifeClipper, in which iart ist involved as commercial partner and technical adviser. Further information and videos you will find here.

The LED-Flashlight – Feature on “Einstein”

Further episodes of “Einstein wills wissen” can be watched on the website of “Einstein”, and there is also the possiblity of subscribing to the show on itunes.

How does a LED work and what makes it different from a light bulb?
To shine some light on these and other questions, a team from the science magazin “Einstein” of national broadcaster SF1 visited us. Our studio set the stage for the “Was steckt drin?” (What’s inside?) segment of the show during one day.
Several experiments had been prepared to show that light does not necessarily equal light. Iart was chosen on the grounds of our yearlong expertise in the areas of media art, lighting and scenography. Of course we are delighted.
