Now everybody can gain playful access to basic perceptual phenomena around light and colour. The mobile Colour-light box by the Colour-light centre of the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste makes it possible. Spatial staging can be tested by using coloured light. Combinations of different colours, colour contrasts and colour shadows can be created, e.g. to design a stage set or exhibition space. The simple design with two dynamically controllable RGB LED light sources and a partition wall with an opening was developed in collaboration with iart. On November 4 the prize-giving of the Designpreis Schweiz takes place in Langenthal. It will be open to public. Two of our projects are nominated: The Swiss Pavilion 2010 in Shanghai and the Open Lounge of Raiffeisenbank’s new ‘Private Financial Consulting’ branch in Zurich with one of our media tables.

The last ‘Tatort Journey’ will take place on 19 November 2011. We will visit the Swiss National Museum and focusTerra at the Department Erdwissenschaften of the ETH Zurich. iart was responsible for the media concept and planning of various permanent exhibitions at the two museums.

On 14 October 2011 the reopening of the Museum of Military History in Dresden takes place. It has been extended with a building by Daniel Libeskind and is now open to public with a new exhibition. The Basler Zeitung reports on Switzerland as the most innovative country worldwide and mentions the exhibition Universe of Particles at CERN as a reference. iart was — together with ‘Atelier Brückner’ — responsible for the concept and planning of the multimedia exhibition.

The new building by Daniel Libeskind in Dresden is completed. It is combined with the old one and cuts through the space of the historical casern area. Since June the exhibition inside the building has been developing. iart has conceived and planned the exhibition media in cooperation with Holzer Kobler Architects.
