On 30 August 2008 the permanent exhibition ‘C’est la vie — Geschichten aus Leben und Tod’ opened at the Naturhistorisches Museum Bern. iart is responsible for the exhibition light.

In ‘C’est la vie’ 1000 objects on the topic life and death are displayed. Origin and caducity of life is shown in surprising constellations: A goat dances tango with a skeleton, different kinds of eggs are presented in the ‘temple of eggs’, and in the ‘exploratory’ living chicks, frogs and butterflies can be observed.
