iart planned and realised two interactive books and a 3D model for the Charterhouse in Ittingen.

Pictures are projected onto the 3D model through which the history and functions of the buildings become visible. The visitors can choose between different display and information options via touch screen.

Since the two historical books were in a critical condition of conservation, iart interactive provided easy access to the books through digitalisation and interactive editing. Visitors can virtually leave through the books and at the same time gather informations, e.g. abstracts of the original texts, explanations of content or visualisations.
