Opening of ‘Rumour’ at Museum of Communication Bern
On Thursday 15 October 2009 the opening of the new temporary exhibition at the Museum of Communication in Bern takes place. It is dedicated to ‘rumours’ of all kind and their spread over different channels and media. In some cases visitors may create and plant their own rumours. iart contributed two particular installations to the exhibition: One Pepper’s Ghost installation with a miniature rumour agent, who talks directly to the visitors, starts a chat and tries to worm a rumour out of them, and a whispering forest with 74 thematically connected rumours which are heard whispered out of the forest. The exhibition is on display until 4 July 2010.
